It would be nice if the Ravens if they let him come back for a game and retire a Raven. Both of my colleges had starting QBs in the NFL this year WVU with Geno Smith and University of Delaware with Joe Flacco. I was actually in a class with Geno Smith, Tavon Austin, and Steadman Bailey when I went to WVU. Although he is not from Delaware it is still cool he played for UD.

You don’t see these QB resurgences very often. Usually when the magic drops off it keeps dropping. Joe has somehow found some magic. Now obviously he’s helped out by a really solid defense but he’s done incredibly well for what he’s been asked to do. I don’t think he’s a long term solution given his age but what a way to end a career if he and the Browns could pull off a superbowl appearance.

They hyped this man up like he was the next coming of Joe Montana and he only beat one playoff team in this rapid rise. That was the Texans without CJ Stroud and when they played them in the playoffs and the Texans were at full strength Joe showed who he was. Just look at his stats, yes he put up a lot of gaudy numbers but he also threw eight interceptions in five games. That came back to bite them in the playoffs when he threw two more interceptions both of which were returned for touchdowns.
