Just like every other athlete chasing that elusive title, these extremely brave guys put their bodies and their lives on the line to make history. I can't say enough about their skills and sheer bravery. My hat's off to you gentlemen. Thank you for your bravery and dedication. To fall off the horse, brush yourself off, and getting right back up, is a testament to your heart. That's what puts you up there with the greats like Tony Hawk, Travis Pastrana, Bucky Lasek, Matt Hoffman, and the great Aaron "Wheelz" Fotheringham. Wheelz is a great inspiration to so many people who are handicapped and is a great example of the heart that I speak of.

That first double backflip by Travis is so burned into my brain as one of the greatest moments EVER in action sports. His jump into San Fran Cisco bay, Deegans ghost ride win in sx, the triple backflip is another... I don't see anyone making the triple common nor anyone else doing it. Sooo crazy and sick. Literally playing with death.

The moment Sheehan landed the triple I teared up, then seeing Jed push through the pain and into clarity made me so inspired, to see him land it I clapped so loud (alone in apt). Then when Jed called his mom I lost it. Wow what an amazing rollercoaster of emotions!! The biggest most inspiring thing isnt the trick but the teamwork and unconditional love. You push each other to defy what people thought was even possible. Just wow!! Props to every single one one of you. I will never forget this documentary. Words cant describe 😢. It's such a great feeling when you land something that you've been trying to do over and over and over again for so long. I think when you see your friend do the same it's equally as fulfilling. As crazy and death defying as this is to everyone watching it. Those of us that grew up riding and racing BMX and dirt bikes, and that still ride, have a lot better idea of how scary, difficult and insane this actually and truly is. Physically, mentally, technically and mechanically. There are soooo many things that can happen or go wrong. A million and one things. And ANY of them could cause a catastrophic failure resulting in death. Props to you all at Nitro Circus.

46:20 For all you youngsters out here, when we all though backflips were impossible on a motorcycle, in 2000, our boy Cary Hart, attempted the very first ever backflip in competition. He over-rotated and wouldn’t successfully land the flip in competition until two years later in the ‘02 X-Games in Philadelphia. The backflip earned him a silver medal in Best Trick, right behind Metzger who managed to pull it off no-footed. And that’s your Dirt-bike Download boys and girls!
