Best memory was winning State POY in high school. Memory people don’t believe is hitting my head on the rim on a tip dunk in Hs, always have to show people the vid on YT to prove it. My career high in HS was 19, was a small, past first point guard and wasn’t a great shooter so my scoring output wasn’t usually very high. Had it going in warmups one game and decided to take a couple 3’s and they fell, and my floater was falling as well. Ended up going like 6/12 and made 5 FT’s and had a clutch steal to seal the game. By far my favorite performance of mine.

man that reminds me of this one game i won. i was really only out there for some wing defense and rebounding since i wasnt the best shooter but i could finish plays well enough in cuts etc. i put us up with a backdoor cut and right after the inbound i stole the ball back, had an open 3, and just felt like it’d go in so i took it and made it. most confident ive ever felt. went 1/5 the next game lmao.

I never played collective school hoops but my favorite hooping moment was in my freshman year of college at our school gym. I ended up dropping 13 in a game to 15 with a weaker team. I’m not a good ball handler so it forced me to play out of position. Won the game on a steal and lay.

#dropthemic The highest I scored in a game is 13 in AAU. Don't seem like much, but it was huge for me. I was a decent role player, always good for 4-6 points and 6 or so boards, but that whole weekend I was goin crazy dropping 9-11 points every game and being our best defensive player, where I won tourney MVP. That's when I knew it wasn't just about how many points I score.

Best basketball memory hit back to back threes all time scoring high. I'm usually a guy who just plays defense and makes one corner three. But that game I hit two at the top of the key. Felt like Steph honestly. For the first time in my basketball career I heard someone yell "aye gaurd that boy he a shooter fr" I never played with these dudes up until this point. So from then on I was guarded closely. Best feeling ever for someone to acknowledge you as a threat on the court.

#DropTheMike • 2 pts in 8th grade. I'm 5'5 and chubby as hell then. I was a "defensive maestro" (a quick fire hydrant) so i got subbed in the 4th to guard the other team's best player (pg). Tie game, I stole the ball straight out his hands with less than a minute 30 left. Me and him 1on1 coast to coast. He tried to block me and fouled my whole damn arm. Crowd popped, AND 1. Everybody was hyped as hell cause that was clutch for the team. I ended up missing the free throw but that was my best game for sure.

I didn’t hoop in high school (I was a football guy) but my brother is going into his senior year and he once dropped 47 but he was in middle school, over the summer he dropped 34 and hit 9 threes. He has the school record for his (and my old hs) for points in a game, threes in a game, ppg, 3 pointers made in a season and career, ft% in a season and career, and 3pt % in a career.

(I was a “big” that was not a scorer whatsoever. I played a lot because I was a very good defender and rebounder.) One of my favorite basketball memories. Was my 7th grade coach believing in me so much he drew up a play for me to make a clutch mid range shot. My teammates told him no he shouldn’t have me shooting it and he told them to to encourage me instead of bring me down. I usually overthink when I’m playing, but he really put so much confidence in me that I was laser focused and I swished that clutch bucket. (We ended stilling the ball back and my teammate shot a game winning 3 but slapped on the arm and the ref didn’t call it, so we lost)
