D.S Danny Pearce was without doubt one of the most boring and dull characters ever to appear on “The Bill”. A complete non entity in contrast to the always entertaining and compelling presence of Ted Roach, whom he supposedly replaced.

Ha! The woman that plays Helen; that's the actress that played Mr Bean's girlfriend right? A bit funny since PC Garfield called out Mr Dean as a sort of in-joke where it sounds like he's calling out Mr Bean! Very cleverly done!
