An excellent re-telling! Might I suggest that you give the same treatment to the other Raid and Alliance storylines? I often encounter people who, for one reason or another, have not gone through the Alexander, Sky Pirate, or Omega stories in particular, so it would be great to have a video in this style to show to those unwilling, or unable, to do the content, who may yet want to know the stories they tell.

I haven't even done the Coils of Bahamut, been meaning to, but it takes just so much time to get into those raids. As such I resorted to looking at your video on it. By the time it finished I was sobbing :( Oh... poor Alisaie and Alphinaud. The things they go through to find out what happened to their grandfather.

Finally found time to watch this. Absolutely stellar. Honestly I hope you do this for Crystal Tower and all the other Alliance & regular Raids. Like Void Ark, Ivalice, Eden, Omega, Alexander and so on, even maybe Nier raid. Of course with the main expansion stories. Your narrating voice is spot on BTW. And you really paid attention to such minute details. So good. EDIT: OST choice is spot on. Nailed it! Perfect timing with perfect choice.

massive apperciation for going through the knowledge mostly as a person would know it. its a small thing but making sure to say 'he' instead of 'she' at nael's first appearence is a good attention to detail. definitely using this to show friends who don't want to slog with the 'ahve your level 90 friend drag you through the duties' method / can't get 7 others to help w/ doing it synched.

This content at least the first Binding Coil was imo very difficult at ilv90 and also broken and needed fixing if I recall to be cleared. it is also the first in my experience in game that people got "the attitude" of being perfect otherwise you were out of the static. I was not able to enjoy this content as I should of but this was very enlightening and I enjoyed it very much. xD

Thanks for the summary. Our FC was kinda rushing through this part so it was hard for me to concentrate on the story. Still thankfull the FC decided to run it for the few people that did not play this part yet as it is hard to get a full party on this optional raid. Tbh I can't quite understand why this trial is not mandatory anymore. Too boring? From a story perspective I found it super interesting what became of Louisoix and that he was still around. And fighting Bahamuth is just epic - wish there will be some kind of comeback. Bahamuth deserves better than just being optional.

This was great, very compelling, I got goosebumps watching it. I get a little excited whenever Im reminded of how Ver: 1.0 ended. The gradual build up to the impending doom watching Dalamud's fall, not being quite sure of what exactly we were going to see. The event itself felt like the video game equivalent of the moon landing. Its a shame its all gone forever, my memory of much of it isn't that great anymore. The game was a bloody mess back then though. The Binding Coil of Bahamut is a great idea for the first raid, Alisaie has become one of my favorite characters. I really stuggled with those annoying little tornados in the last part though. Im very excited to see what call backs to 1.0 we will see with Endwalker.

I played the Beta version of the original game, felt too much like FFXI with all of its problems. I didn't touch it again until a Realm Reborn came out and haven't looked back since! - Pétur
