The Genesis intro track makes me cry every time. It just exudes a "this is a story of tragedy", like you're about to hear/see the saddest thing ever, the death of an innocent child from abuse and a dysfunctional family. When you think of the actual plot of the game, it's impossible not to feel a lump in your throat.

Man, I wish I can listen to the previous menu themes in Repentance without having to install separate instances of the game or visit KZbin. I have ideas on how this would work: • Make it progression-based: Rebirth's Genesis would work as the default title screen theme. After unlocking Polaroid/Negative or beating Hush for the first time, Afterbirth's ReGenesis should replace the title theme (after all, the game's only just begun at that point). Then after beating Hush 3 times thus unlocking alt path to Downpour, the final title theme Genesis II should play. I think this would be a great indicator of your Isaac gameplay progression and the mood of the story. • A simple toggle in the Options menu like Antibirth's original vs remix soundtracks. Just cool ideas I had while enjoying the entire soundtrack!

I really adore how the main music of the game developed throughout the years. Genesis really sounds like a new beginning. ReGenesis sounds much more pumped as the series is at it's peak and we've just begun with Isaacs story (well except for how bad Afterbirth+ was). Genesis Retake feels like the finale and epilogue to the series.
