Awesome video 😍 You did a pretty nice job reviewing the BioAmp EXG Pill! I would like to add some points here clarifying some of your doubts and also for others to help them make better decisions while using the BioAmp EXG Pill in a project. 1. The gel electrode patch has a non-sticky part that is supposed to go in the opposite direction of the hair growth. During the removal of the gel electrode, you pull the patch in the same direction of your hair growth with the help of that non-sticky part of the gel electrode. 2. The refAmp 1k resistor is used for current limiting and with a properly grounded setup the noise doesn't appear at all and putting a 0-ohm resistor makes no difference. BTW, we used 100k resistors for all three input pins in v0.7 which are dropped in the v1.0x because they made the EXG Pill noisy. 3. The band limiting is very useful for EOG and EEG recording which you haven't shown in this review video. Also, the signal sometimes clips while we record ECG by putting electrodes very close to the heart, and creating a solder jumper for band pass filter helps with that also. 4. The gain option is very useful for EEG and EMG recording which you also haven't shown in the review. If you record EMG and EEG you find that the signal coming out of the BioAmp EXG Pill is very low in amplitude in comparison to EOG and ECG signals and increasing the gain is something that can help. 5. The two-wire mode is specifically included for projects like ECG acquisition patches or heart patch projects for HRV and more. It's only supposed to be used with a battery-operated setup as it's very prone to high interference noise due to a lack of proper reference on the body. Again, the DRL resistor removal for the better signal is something we know of, and we especially chose to go with 1k instead of 0-ohm to make the device a little bit safer. I suppose not everybody will have a properly grounded set up and people would want a cleaner signal rather than the current limiting option. We might change the 1k resistor with 0R for the final PCBs upon further feedback from our beta testers. Thank you for your valuable time, I enjoyed the video very much and would love to see you try it out in some cool projects related to ECG, EMG, EOG, and EEG. Those who would like to support the project can get the BioAmp EXG Pll from Crowd Supply at www.crowdsupply.com/upside-down-labs/bioamp-exg-pill

How did you take care of the noise? I watched couple of times but I wanna try to make too. I am getting a lot of noise and don't know what to do

It's been a while since I made this video (and I have to say, in retrospect, I'm not particularly proud of it) 😅 I don't remember exactly what I did, but I think the device had a third terminal you could attach to your body which reduced noise noticeably.
