BioAmp EXG Pill v0.7 | Upside Down Labs | ECG, EMG, EOG, and EEG | DIY Neuroscience

BioAmp EXG Pill is a small and elegant EXG board that you can use with any 5v micro with an ADC to record ECG, EMG, EOG, and EEG. It is a powerful analog-front-end (AFE) biopotential signal-acquisition board that can be paired with any microcontroller unit (MCU) or single-board computer (SBC) with an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) such as Arduino UNO & Nano, Espressif ESP32, Adafruit QtPy, STM32 Blue Pill, BeagleBone Black, and Raspberry Pi Pico, to name just a few. It also works with any dedicated ADC, like the Texas Instruments ADS1115 and ADS131M0x, among others.
It is capable of recording publication-quality biopotential signals like ECG, EMG, EOG, and EEG, without the inclusion of any dedicated hardware or software filters. Its small size allows easy integration into mobile and space-constrained projects, and its powerful noise rejection makes it usable even when the device is close to the AC mains supply. Any 1.5 mm diameter wire can be used as a strain-relieving electrode cable, making it very cost-effective in comparison to the other available.

I have a question, I want to work on BCI and as i know the EXG pill is used to 'receive' the mili/micro volts as an input from electrodes or other sources. Can we send back the volts to electrodes from Arduino ?

Yes you are right. BioAmp EXG Pill is used to receive the mili/micro volts as an input and then it amplifies the signals and ultimately sends it to a microcontroller board with an ADC (Arduino). But it is not possible to send back the signals from Arduino to electrodes using BioAmp EXG Pill.

Yes EOG signals can be recorded using BioAmp EXG Pill that can trigger the movement of servo motors. It would be good if you can explain the project in a bit more detail so that we will be able to help you out in a better way.

How did you display the waveforms? where did you click on the arduino IDE?

You can visualize the biophysiological data on serial plotter of Arduino IDE. After uploading the code, go to tools and then select serial plotter. The pill itself does one channel IIRC. But you can get two or four channel headbands (each channel requiring one pill, if I understand correctly)
