Colour House is the future of House music! I remember during 2020 and a bit 2021 I thought that House music was kinda dying with Slap House just taking over a lot of things. There was no real creativity and fun with House music. But I feel like recently a lot of people have been trying new and fun things with House music. So I hope people make more colourful House stuff because it really inspires me and makes House music fun again to listen to!

Edit: I would like to suggest to add Chime - Rainbow Rave Parade since the middle part of the drop is color house but faster and Sharks - Lullaby because the last drop is also color house.

i found an old song the other day that merged future house and dubstep sounds together, it was pretty sick tho it doesn't feel like colour house - felt more like dubstep with future house sound design. wonder if you've heard it? song is NGHTMRE & SLANDER - WARNING (Ghastly Remix)

I think someone made a 'colour house' wayy before any of these guys, and that might be au5, the grandmaster of sound designing. Search up his 'door house' song or the 4 producer 1 sample flip, and it sounds SOO colour housish even tho it was made in 2019 or smth. However, since au5 really limited himself to making the beat with only the door sample, he had to get creative, and thus used granualiser or whatever to make colour house :D

There is a free plugin by Ummet Ozcan called Expander which has the option to automatically colour the basses and other instrumental elements juwt by tweaking 1 or 2 knobs.Its just next level.

Personally i believe production schools are great to learn fundamentals and to develop a basic understanding of components of the music production and music business fields. But those alone won't get you anywhere. Real improvement will come from speaking with likeminded people, sharing tipps and tricks and helping where you can, so you will have people to fall back on, when you need help yourself. Be kind to people, support music you love, put yourself out there and get hurt! Its a long road, which you should rly only get on, if you can't live without music! Because that's what will keep you going through the inevitably rough times 💜💙
