I’m a retired RN having had 10 years in OB. I also have had 5 babies. So you’d think I’d be desensitized. Oh, not at all. It never gets old, it’s never not miraculously beautiful!! I could feel Daddy’s fear!! And I have to tell you that I was crying watching you both hold your perfect little gift from God for the first time. My eyes are still wet as I type this. I love how honest you both are! When you are induced it’s so painful so, getting an epidural is only natural. I had to do that too especially because I was induced. We had our little boy on 2nd May this year and it took 3 failed induction attempts and a C-section for him to get here and it took me a while to realise that eventhough it didn't go to plan it was clearly part of God's plan. I am a little late to the game here but I recently went through a similar situation with my wife needing surgery and it taking over tice as long as what they thought it would be.
