In Spider-Man web of shadows theres this boss fight with Wolverine that references this book. Wolverine doesn’t think Peter is in control of his body and wants to know its him in there, so he asks him questions only Peter would know (Marvel trivia) and one of the questions is “Who declined joining the New Avengers” and the correct answer is Daredevil. Though Spider-Man calls him “That red guy with the horns”

Hi, love the show, just wanted to add some nerdy wisdom. In the comics, although Cap is technically in "peak" human condition, he is shown to be much stronger and faster than even the most dedicated human athletes. Although he is not as powerful as Ultimate Cap, he is still enhanced enough to be considered a superhuman possessing super powers. Also he's classified as a mutate, just like Spiderman, jessica drew, luke cage, and other non-mutant or inhuman super people.

If you remove the retcon part of things, the sentry has easily the best origin story ever: "middle-aged, overweight, alcoholic Robert Reynolds wakes up and realizes that he's the sentry, a hero with the power of ONE MILLION EXPLODING SUNS" With that being said, was there ever a consensus about how the sentry got his powers, and why the void exists? The comics gave live 45 different explanations (the general's mind virus, RR is actually evil, he's galactus, he's the actual angel of death, he's so powerful that all of this could be true depending on his mood). I'm half expecting the sentry to come back in secret wars and reveal that he was the first beyonder, and he had a cosmic flu or something while trying to understand humans, but now that he had some r and r in the sun, he undoes all of secret invasion and yells at the beyonders for being so irresponsible before disappearing into the beyond.

Yeah, I fell in love with the Avengers once Spider-Man joined after the events of Avengers: Disassembled. 💗 The New Avengers are some of my favourite comic books because they include so many big arcs, but with a pretty ground level team. Plus Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and their baby are so cool.

By Cap's reasoning in this book, Foggy and the prison guards that didnt die should have been in the Avengers. Talking Sentry into helping is obviously more important than whatever SpiderWoman contributed to the situation. Hey Sal. Crazy Thought: Sony only owns movie rights on Spidey and not the TV rights, which were never on the table (because back then, no one cared). So bear with me. In DareDevil, have a CG Spidey. Never take off the mask and commit to an actor, and since he's animated, we know that we're in the clear for Disney/Marvel to produce, like the current cartoon. But this is turning meta intellectual property sh*t. Like isn't the HULK always an animated character? Whatevs, gonna ponder if the gun to Ben's head is foreshadowing of a Comic POP Civil War.

Randy Besse Vibranium is supposed to be super tough and strong and it's biggest factor is it absorbs vibrations but not it's not as strong as adamantium because it's the strongest metal there is. It's like an alloy where you melt down the different ingredients, mix it and once it cools can never be melted again, can cut trough anything and can never break...Unless you're Magneto and can liquefy and rip it off of Wolverine's skeleton but the only explanation I have for that is....comics. What can you do? In terms of strength in metals in the Marvel universe I think it goes, Adamantium or Uru (the stuff Thor's hammer is made of) at the top with vibranium not as high but pretty close behind them.
