Merry Christmas, ComicPOP crew! What a fun story to cap off the year. It took me longer than I care to admit to notice Tiffany’s combo-hat, but I am absolutely here for it. Thanks for a great year of content, and hope you all can enjoy cozy atmospheres and the comfort of family and friends this season.

I don't understand the Damian hate. He was super annoying when he first showed up, but I feel like lately with the right writer, he's actually been pretty cool.

One of my favorite comic book characters is Batman. Back when I was a kid I manily read characters who had little to no superpowers because I couldn't handle those stories. I know right? I was really stupid. The characters I read when I was a kid are Batman Daredevil The Punisher John Constantine Green Arrow Nightwing Iron Man It was Geoff Johns who changed my mind about superheroes with superpowers. It was his Flash run of the early 2000s that did it.

Everybody talks about what Geoff Johns did for Green Lantern but I love what he did for The Flash. I have his entire run of The Flash from the early 2000s. I believe his run of The Flash started in 2000 to 2005. I'm talking about Wally West Flash. The Flash Rebirth is ten times better than Green Lantern Rebirth to me. I'm not much of a fan of Green Lantern but I'm a big fan of The Flash. Before Geoff Johns' Flash run the characters I read were mostly human characters with very little powers like Batman Daredevil John Constantine The Punisher Nightwing Green Arrow Iron Man It was Geoff Johns' run that got reading characters with superpowers. Here's some characters I've read since Geoff Johns' Flash run Swamp Thing Deadpool Wolverine The X-Men Aquaman Shazam The Teen Titans Doom Patrol Spawn Savage Dragon Invincible Ghost Rider Hawkman Thor Blade Captain America

I just watched Santa Claus is Coming to Town today, so of course, I decided to rewatch this episode of back issues. I noticed a couple extra references to the Rankin Bass movie, which Morrison had to have watched or at least looked up the plot to bc there are too many similarities 3:16 the town in the movie is called “Sombertown”, where the people are somber. So Morrison just looked up synonyms for somber and liked grim 8:22 the wolf joining in on the singing is like topper, the penguin, joins Claus when he sings in the movie🐧

A lot of Santa movies I’ve seen that go into his backstory go into him being of Nordic descent so I’d imagine he has a Viking style of fighting.

As for where could Batman and Santa could meet during Bruce's training years, well if I remember correctly in New 52 there was once the time he train in Norway fighting in Ice pit to test his indurance, Bruce's hold a ground for a entire week maybe Chris /Santa was among fighters
