Could you guys do a playlist of all of Brian Michael Bendis’ Avengers books in reading order? From Avengers: Disassembled to AvX.

Alternative direction for the Wayne Owls and their connection to the mythos....Owlman. Subtly suggesting the corruption of the Waynes.

Great storytelling. Hints of a proto-Batman mythos that you can see if you divine if f you are familiar with the Bat, and a clean story on its own.

Sal and Tom on a Pirate ship would be an epic show. Former English Teacher and Former FBI Agent go on crazy adventures based off of the comics they’ve read their whole lives.

Absolutely loved this when it came out. And such a good listen as well coming from you Sal. Probably only the second or third episode of back issues that I loved so much that I listened to it twice in a row

Glad you did this! Picked up the issues as they were coming out on the author's name alone and was happy with its noir feel.

I find The Hulk interesting because of his looks. And I'm not just talking about his muscles, but the green skin. I find him and Iron Man to be the two most visually interesting characters at Marvel. I loved the 2003 film, Hulk because of how the character was depicted. It's a god story but the visuals really blew me away.

Tom king is such an excellent writer! His work needs to be in libraries and literature classes. This is great and reminded me of a similar harrowing movie called Ugly by Anurag Kashyap. Excellently told story about a baby getting kidnapped.

WHen Mr. Hyde stomped on a little girl's back, I wanted to kill Jeekl for creating the formula. The Hulk may rage, but he would never do that. Unless we're talking about Ultimate Hulk, in which ase he would eat the girl.

I read Titan and Wizard as a teen and loved them. Didn't even know there was a third book! Time for a re-read! These would make for cool movies, but the hermaphroditic centaurs would be tricky 😅

Did I miss the part where they said how Helena died? It wasn't Richard, Queenie, or Constance. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention but all that was said is it was an accident.

I’ve learned over the years that I really like these “throwback” stories that take place in the past but are written decades after the fact. “Modern” writing seems to know how to treat the past more seriously and earnestly versus the stories that were published in the day.

While Im not the biggest Batman fan I love Gotham City and tales revolving around characters in it. Its why I loved Gotham Central. As an avid Noir Detective fan and King fan this is an immediate pickup for me, this was so good!

What a fun book; will have to pick this up, I think. And for what it’s worth, I think the lack of suspenders helps complete the “rough’n’tumble, disheveled” look more than a savage beating from Ethan and Ben ever could!
