God bless you!!! I had no idea you were expecting!! Praise the Lord! We had an amazing home birth experience with our 5th on June 7th. I wouldn't do it any other way. I got stuck in transition for 4 hours,- 13 total- but we found out that baby had cord around neck 2 times, and around right arm. She kept yo-yo-ing back up, smallest baby I'd ever had at 5#11oz. My husband read Psalm 103 out loud over us- and I miraculously had no pain until her head was delivered! It was an amazing experience. No tearing with a compound presentation is a God thing!

Beautiful story, beautiful Baby! My second daughter, Katelyn was born at home on July 20- 8 years ago. 90 minutes from start to finish! I had her in the tub. She was 10 lbs 8 oz and face up! I was in transition before the midwife got there, but she did make it, thankfully!

Congratulations on your beautiful daughter!!!! I love it how she listens to you talk, she is so used to your voice... Home birth is not for everyone, we could have lost our son, as we had a prolapsed umbelical cord, it washed out with the water and we had an emergency c section to save the baby...

Congratulations. She is beautiful! I found after birth 4 that my hips hurt so much. Chiropractor was very helpful, but also using a hip wrap or support of some kind really relieved the pain. I think they are meant to help your hips go back to pre birth, but for me it really was about helping with my pain. HTH!

If I were to have a child I would probably want to have a home birth. It sounds so much better than a hospital birth. Another youtuber I watch also just had a baby {Chana from Jar of Fireflies}, and her description of her hospital experience sounded pretty miserable. God bless!

My 7th (of 9) was 45 minutes from first contraction to birth. It was a homebirth and the midwife missed it by almost half an hour lol. She lived half an hour away and my husband alerted her about 15mins in, we just had no idea it was gonna go that fast. I didn't tear with any of mine and 2 we're quite large, 9lb 11.25oz and 11lbs (homebirth). My hospital births led to my homebirth.

My twin sisters oldest son had his hand up to his face and they immediately did a c-section. He is 5 now. I had 2 boys (7 and 4) and then my daughter (1). Now pregnant with a surprise blessing. While I still plan on doing a hospital birth I am hoping to hire a doula. Also, practicing my relaxation, as I think I remain too tense in labor. Driving to the hospital is definitely unpleasant. I have debated a home birth or birth center. Unfortunately the birth centers are equally far away and I was not sold on doing a home birth for a couple reasons. I will live vicariously through your experience though.
