How is it that you've managed to perfectly encapsulate what it felt like finding birthplace, and doing the climb for the first time? the feeling of gnawing empty. And the animation, especially during the part where kingsoul becomes void heart, along with the narration and amazing lighting, and that scene where hk looks back aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. This is absolutely amazing, please keep creating.

Immediately at the start this animation made me think of Coraline and now I genuinely want a Hollow Knight movie from Laika. Those sequences were genius by the way, I love the alterations you made to fit a 3D cinematic environment more, having the knight leap from a huge stack of skulls to the platform in an attempt to reach it, and the blinding light from the Pale King was aweing. Then of course, the Kingsoul turning into the Voidheart was a beautiful sequence. I also love how you can see the void churning behind the Knight's eyes in the end, it almost feels like tears welling up within it.

Oh God, such a breathtaking work! The sound, the frames and lightning are gorgeous. And most importantly, there is that specific Hollow Knight vibe. Definitely deserves more attention. I never thought Hollow Knight series would be a good idea (just because it is absolutely perfect as a game and turning it into another form of art would ruin something important). But your animation was the first time I thought HK series can actually be fine, especially in this style.

Thousands, no, Millions of unable to speak voices cried their way down to the vastiness, even filling the suppossed abyss with the supposed height and mass of their shells, a single shell, managed to get to the top, and NOT, be thrown down like the others, showing no emotion, the Pale King feels success. Although, another shell, managing to climb up, a tower, made of the shells of its 'brothers', sees one of their kin, standing. As it jumps towards its "brother", failing, grabbing itself of the edge. But the revelation is made; The 'Empty' Shell, the Pale King, thought Empty, was not. As it looked back at it's kin, it turns again, walking towards the King's direction, as the Shell, fell down, to share, the same destiny as all of its brothers..Or not? Maybe, that shell, was actually the better option rather than the one selected? Maybe, if the shell, was picked, would it share the same destiny? sorry chat i wrote this essay, i was geniunely bored lol

This animation is just breathtaking ! I love the style so much, and the way the Knight walks and struggles. The textures are really different from what we're used to in the game, and it gives a whole new experience of the scene ! Also it reminded me a lot of Little Nightmares II with how the characters carry themselves and the jump to the bridge. Thank you for all the work you put into this !

Our little Knight continues on his way, ignoring him even though big brother is catching up with Hollow Knight.
