Between this and his so-called "origami", I think this fellow doesn't want to be ripped by other magicians for his knock-off props, so he makes them that they're really not exactly the same. So with the girl entering the top and the octagon holes both in front, not to mention the huge space at the top he can claim this isn't really Cube Zag, even when he means it to be. The falling blade seems to indicate poor costruction. At least he's very good at improvising during these flubs.
