Time traveller here. At a certain point Bitcoin will be a word used very rarely, instead people will be discussing "Satoshi's" aka "Sats", since owning an entire Bitcoin will be extremely rare. A future update will increase the number of decimal points a single Bitcoin can be subdivided so micro-sats aka msats can be used to buy smaller things.

Great show, as usual. Wish they were longer. : I'd love to hear some discussion about what would happen if bitcoin starts to be used as a default currency in a country. Since the bitcoin supply can't expand beyond 21M, how would a country that's expanding increase the availability of bitcoins? Where would they come from? Wouldn't this be very disinflationary as more goods and services are bought & sold by the same about of bitcoins? Is that a good thing or a bad thing? I'd love to hear you's and Art Laffer's thoughts on that.

What you’re looking for is referred to as “level 2” bitcoin which is the payment network being built on top of Bitcoin. This is well underway with working prototypes here today. The ability to onboard up to 8 billion people is not here now but it looks to be around the corner; give it 3-5 years. For now, the value of Bitcoin is as a store of value primarily and not a day to day currency.
