I remember hearing these for the first time when they supported The Black Keys at Manchester Academy in 2006. They opened with this and me and my dad turned to eachother and just said "Jesus Christ". They absolutely blew me away.

I wasted so many years of my "musical apprenticeship" attempting to master my instruments and write busy sounding and complex music. Simple and diving tunes like this beats everything. There is way more texture and atmosphere in this song than in so many "over played" type songs.

Yea, I've learned as a drummer people like a steady, constant rhythm flow instead of fills every other riff.

I heard this on the radio some time last summer, I think. It had been a long time since I heard any rock music that really blew my mind and haunted me for a while. Unfortunately, I didn't hear the band's name, so I eventually forgot about this song. Recently, I heard it on the radio again, and I was lucky enough t hear the band's name. Keep up the fantastic work, guys!

@marvelac - Majority of people find it hard to think original thoughts for themselves. Taste is original. It's what you like despite what other people say you should like, for reasons that are your own. Thus, most people have no taste.

I'm sorry but I am in part the cause of the demise of your enjoyment and satisfaction from listening to this music. Its only natural to love sharing something you enjoy with the hopes that others too will enjoy them. Besides how do you know they wont go down in history as a band like pink floyd, or ccr, or the who or other bands with similar standings? Be optimistic bro, it suits you more :)
