I love the music, the fact that there's no songs makes this more serious & adult oriented than the majority of disneys movies. It's insane to think this movie was made in the 80s because it feels more like an late 60s early 70s flick. Oh I wish we could've seen the scrapped version, to think there's was an even darker version sends shivers down my spine. I mean this movie stands already as one of the darkest movies disney ever made already so yeah just imagine...

I agree! There should've been more blood, death, and horror in this movie. _Just a little_ more. Maybe someday the nostalgia wave will reach this movie and someone will animate that flesh-bubbling scene and release it on an anniversary DVD.

@Tom Spiegel You can thank Jeffrey Katzenberg for making this movie more kid friendly. The cauldron born for example were supposed to kill more people, and you see it in graphic fashion.

An absolutely incredible work of art, the movie and the music. Its really cool how you can pretty much "watch" the movie just by listening to the OST

Finally! It's about time they remade something that actually NEEDS a second chance at cinema! I hope they keep the soundtrack though, and get someone as good as John Hurt to play the villain. Let's hope next we get another Atlantis or a Treasure planet Sequel! I suppose Home on the Range could also benefit from a second chance. Then maybe Dinosaur, and another Fantasia, and another Rescuers.

Great! Also they cannot be cg or live action. No this has to be hand drawn just like in the past. Ducktales 2017 proves that there's still a place for traditional animation (be it if partly through computer software but still not 3D, still prefer if it was drawn entirely on paper ).

Now you see a lot of individuals don't understand the love Disney had love for Philly. Even for the fact that Fantasia was conducted by the Philadelphia orchestra, Lloyd Alexander had lived in Drexel Hill and wrote the Chronicles Prydain series

I love this movie so much that I'm going to make movies based on each of the books in the series. And I'm going to make some kind of bonus disk based on The Foundling and other tales from Prydain." Just you watch. I will do it for it is my supreme intention to do it.
