I loved the original BC’s and wish Chris and Rich no ill will, BUT...you can see that the bloom has already worn off of the rose. Rich is back to looking like he’d rather be anywhere else than there. And Chris looks tired as fuck. Now, I get that life in this day and age isn’t easy for anyone, and having their tour plans post-poned sucked. But the more I see lately of this, I can’t help but believe the deep-seated industry rumours that this ‘reunion’ is strictly because they are both broke again. It’s the literal reason everyone else involved is a salaried side-man and not a partner in revenue or a full band member-NOT ONE ORIGINAL OTHER MEMBER IS BACK. It’s clear as glass that they just want the pie to be cut only in two. Which is incredibly short-sited of them. If they had worked...REALLY worked at getting the 91 or 93 line-up back together, the excitement for this would have been waaaaaaay bigger...as would the demand for tickets. Which equals MORE MONEY. I have an acquaintance who was once a member of the group (not naming dropping but it’s truth) and he’s confirmed what industry gossip has speculated: the brother’s need the money. And interviews like this make it obvious. Rich’s love of expensive cars and guitars (which I think is awesome, btw) and Chris’ Hollywood ‘lifestyle’ don’t come cheap. Too bad they slit the throat of the Golden Goose, though. Had they have buried the hatchet and brought back Gorman (impossible, I know), Colt and Marc Ford-hell, even just Sven Pipien and Jeff Cease would have rocked!...it would have made a bigger impact, plus more tickets sales, bigger venues, more merch sold, more opportunities etc. Etc. Etc. Such a missed impact by the band I thought that was gonna save rock and roll. Again.

And yes, Charming Mess, as cool as it is, is WAAAAAAAAY to close to Hot Legs. That’s definitely the reason it was shelved. Look at Chris’ face when he says it...he saying it, without saying it.
