I'm digging the black feathered jacket Chris is wearing. Very "crow-like," ha ha. The Crowes were SO rock & roll when they first came out compared to all the boy bands and shit that were on the radio and MTV at the time. They were like a breath of fresh air.

The song just takes you away especially the video gives you so much to think about. And such a heavy melodic sound, you go for a ride in this tune.

I discovered this song as a teenager, and life moved on into my late forties in complete absence of this song. Then some random moment resurrected the words in my mind: "Hey! Sister! Do you wanna try to find me?" I don't even know what the moment was but I heard it clear like a bird call. Incredible music. I'm so glad to have it back.

One of the deepest “realest” songs ever written. This is up there with “Under The Bridge” by RHCP and “Purple Rain” by Prince

I remember when I first saw this on MTV back in ‘92 and really feeling it. I like how it becomes dramatic towards the end with Robinson’s vocal chords sounding like they’re about to explode with the perfect images to accompany it. Stéphane Sednaoui really knew how to make music coexist with images with this one and “Give it Away” and “Big Time Sensuality”.

I fell into my first deep depression around the time this song first released. Depression had nothing to do with this song, but at 17 years old I lost one of my best friends (he was 18) then a year later my Uncle who was a father figure to me passed away. After 2 tramatic deaths it all started with severe anxiety and panic that I had no clue was. My chest used to get so tight bcuz I thought I was dying. Severe OCD developed, fear of losing anyone I cared about. Just bad, bad troubles I still deal with as I have PTSD from my expierience. I can't even leave my house at times depending how paranoid I get. Anyway I remember this song and Madonna "deeper and deeper" song always on Mtv, not that I was jamming out, but back in 1992 most stations went of after 12 am and MTV at least showed stuff. To think how bad I was as a 17 year old turning 18, my first year out of school after graduating and I was trapped on my mom's living room floor (not showering, eating for days). I used to make my mum stay up with me bcuz I was scared something would happen to her. She lived 25+ more years and passed away at 81 years old 2 years ago. Just to think all the worrying i did. Didn't go to art school and fouled up my dreams or slwed them down bcuz I felt I would fail, just a big mess mentally. I remember the girl in the Black Crowds song (I think it's Sophia Coppola) she looked so depressed too. Then the Madonna song deeper and deeper was so F'ing weird. I dont think i thought of these songs until today. Anyway no point to my rant, but depression is rough. I wouldnt even know what to say or how i made it thru.
