So about the security guards. I went back to St. Andrews for another show 2 days later and had a random conversation with the head of security outside. Told him about the large number of positive comments about security and he was so happy to hear that. He said he trains them to do their job only when necessary but to have fun. Also mentioned that BDM is practically family and most of the security knows the band personally so it was an emotional night even for them.

I had never been to Detroit for a show before this despite being a TBDM fan for such a long time and seeing them more than any other band. It’s so true that the security went above and beyond. Of course he'll have to work on his stage presence (as many musicians turned vocalists, e.g. Akerfeldt in Bloodbath), but his vocals sound a lot better than I would have imagined, better than some full-fledged vocalists with years of experience. Can't wait to see/hear some pro-shot videos

I just got my Tshirt in the mail. I cried opening it......I met Trevor here in Spokane a few years back, shook my hand, gave me a pat on the back and said I hope you enjoy our show tonight. It was my first metal concert....Im 41 now.

For a first performance for Brian on vocals that was solid. Can’t wait until he’s more comfortable with it and fully forms his own signature stage presence and vocal style.

I've had about as terrible a year as one could. As a younger man, I and my friends traveled for multiple days, missing shows (from selling out) trying to catch BDM. We were lucky enough to meet dudes from Darkest Hour outside one of the venues on that trip and they tossed us on a list for the next show in NJ (Starland mf Ballroom). Losing Trevor felt like family passing. As an adult, working too much, married, all that, nothing warms my heart like seeing these dudes still crushing.

This show was simply amazing. Brian fucking killed it and seriously couldn’t be any better unless he was Trevor. This was the first and only death metal show I’ve cried at. BDM is in good hands !!!!

Detroit has definitely lost a hero in the death metal scene, but Brian is definitely going to take TBDM to another level. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for filming this. We all love and miss you Trevor, and you will NEVER be forgotten. That's a promise! We all know how special you are, and Brian will live through you Forever! R.I.P. Trevor 🤘👊

I photographed them live in Worcester MA on the Verminous tour. I was the only photographer there that night for TBDM. We usually only get the first 3 songs to shoot from the pit up front, but Trev stopped the head of security and told him "Just let him stay up here and shoot, he's having a blast and not getting in anyone's way". That will ALWAYS be my best memory of Trevor, and I miss him dearly. I'm so glad that Brian stepped up to do lead vocals, it's what Trev would have wanted, and he absolutely killed it! I'm excited for the next chapter of the band, because they're all going to carry on the legacy paved over the years.

Nothing but pure love in the comments, such uplifting moment for all of us metalheads. Back in the days I was doing few interviews with Trevor, then on one of the gigs I was looking for him to do another quick round of questions but then Brian showed up. I've asked where Trevor is and Brian was super cool and said: "Hey, you have me". Yes, Brian - we have you! We're so lucky!
