Such a cool guitar. Brandon is one of the most talented metal guitarist playing right now. That signature is much deserved.

I love Kellies. I have a MF KE1 and is super amazing. Having said that..Thumbs up to Brandon moving the strap button.Thats THE most important thing on the guitar. He is being polite on his explanation, truth be told Kellies are some of the most UNBALANCED guitars ever, and that simple change in the back strap button position makes a HUGE difference, importantly preventing the guitar from dropping face away from you, which makes your playing experience painful and also makes you look stupid.....They should do it in EVERY Kelly model out there.

This is a damn wicked looking Kelly. I have a Kelly JS-32. It's made out of Poplar, and because of that, the guitar is neck heavy, but I love the bottom end punch I get outta it. It's my Rythym and Riff recording axe in the studio. I use my Jackson Dinky for recording my leads, but the bridge pickup just became microphonic in my Dinky recently, so now I gotta fix that.

Really considering purchasing this, but a few questions if anyone has the answers, thank you! It ships with 09 strings - I've read Brandon uses light gauges to make bends and vibrato easier, but surely even he doesn't play 9s when tuned to C Standard? The Parallel Axis sounds great, but considering no switch, I'm guessing a lot more tinkering needs to be done to lead tone patches on amp/pedals/modellers to get the same lead qualities one would normally get a from neck pickup?

I was interested in buying an affordable Kelly, as opposed to the high end or custom models, to get back into playing. I haven't owned a guitar since 2009. The online dealer I went with won't have any kellys with a Floyd in stock at my price range for a few weeks so I ordered a randy Rhoads yesterday instead. I hope I don't regret my impatience.

Just bought one of these Jackson Pro Series Brandon Ellis Kelly Green Crackles and it compares favorably in many ways with my USA Custom DK2H & RR1T Jacksons. The playability, neck and tone are world class. Jackson did a great job on fretwork and rolling the fretboard edges. Made in China guitars can be great like this! The only downsides are the Jackson branded tuners are absolute garbage. I've played $300 guitars with smoother tuners. And they should be including a hard case for the price point.
