Very nice short documentary. I hope this place and animals are well protected. Thanks for sharing.

My husband's family comes from Bavaria. They were the most common name in that area. It is beautiful and the Midwest has the same kinds of animals and bushes and trees as that area had. Why so many Germans moved to the US around the turn of the 20th century.

I was born there. I came to the United States as a young girl. My mom lived there all her young life. Until she married an army man. I called him dad.

What animal predators live there other than the wild cats ? Any bears or lions ?
@Walderdbeere1410 ай бұрын
Lions don't live in central Europe. The only predators are lynx and smaller ones like the red fox and badgers. Also the wolves are coming back to German forests and bears also.

Most of the predators were hunted to extinction in the black forest (all of Germany actually), in the past years natural predators like wild cats, lynx and wolves have partly returned and hopefully their numbers will grow! We have about 120 Wild cats, 5 lynx and 4 wolves at the moment.....

Not at all. It's a nature reserve that's under protection.
