The ONLY complaint that i have about your productions is that i wish that they were twice as long. Especially when you are showing the beautiful people and locations that only exist in Germany. Having been blessed with the privilege of living a year in this country, we were not able to take anywhere close to the amount of time that we would have loved to just explore, converse with the locals, and enjoy the cuisine and scenery that is exclusive to your beautiful land. Please never feel that you are wasting our time by adding more people, food, or the stunning world that is Germany! Thank you for what you do!

I think the length of their videos is just right. They get a lot of content in but it doesn't become tedious. If a video goes over 30 minutes, I tend to move on to another video. It's better to have multiple short videos.

Please don't suggest Flammkuchen is from Alsace, France and was borrowed from there. Flammkuchen originates from the bigger region, which is in modern times split into Baden-Württemberg, Saarland, Alsace and Lorraine. The dish is a shared German and French dish.

These towns in Germany are so pretty. The forest actually reminds me of the Pennsylvania Pocono Mountains, look up photos of that and you will see the resemblance. German food and desserts looks so delicious to me. I could definitely live on German food everyday. The only thing I would possibly miss would be our great Seafood on the east coast of the United States which would be our great lobsters and are delicious crab and our delicious sea scallops and so on, otherwise German food does it for me. Thanks for showing us these beautiful places. I love it! 👍🏻👍🏻✌🏻

@@imrehundertwasser7094 well the town was planed with the market place, and streets arround in the shape of a nine mens morris game board. And yes a castle should be the center. Because Freudenstadt is in the middle between Strasbourg and Stuttgart. They abounded the plan out of several reasons one was they didn’t find enough silver in the mines, another was that Herzog Friedrich died and his son didn’t want it.

Of course, in Germany, cake is not considered a dessert and not had after a meal, but is a "meal" of its own in the afternoon. Just as you said: Kaffee und Kuchen. So, of course, one should really sit down for it - best in an old-style café - and have a cup of coffee with it, rather than eating it as a take-away item. This is not very German at all. But probably you did not find a quiet place to film at a sit-down café? Once back in Düsseldorf, you should certainly visit Konditorei Heinemann in the Kö Center for some traditional coffee and cake. I think the furniture in the bedroom of the rented apartment was more '90s than '70s style. But, yes, very typical of privately owned guest apartments.

Wait. You hiked up the Allerheiligen Waterfalls, mentioned how much you would like a snack right now and then TURNED AROUND without visiting the old monastery just a few 100m ahead? You could have had your cake right there. Also, there is a path a little up the hill running parallel to the waterfalls back to the parking lots, offering some very nice views from above.

( they even give courses in how do make Schwarzwälder Kirsch Torte) But funny that you went from Mummelsee to Allerheiligen to Freuddnstadt and then back freudenstadt Kniebis, where the Elbachseeblick is… You also missed the opportunity to visit the Wein Black Forest Ham butchery/factory… The Black Forest was originally a mixed forest, later they cultivated Spruces which floated down the rivers to Amsterdam and then shipped … today around 70 %of the Black Forest isSpruces now they started to go back to the mixed forest with Deciduous trees.

Many years ago I took DB train from koln to baden-baden. Spent time there. Then went to Basel. Next day went to Freiburg. Yes you are so close to France. Strasbourg is on the other side of the Rhine. I've been told people go there or st. Louis France -- and Freiburg-- from basel because the prices of goods (including groceries) are cheaper. Edit: The Roman's called the mountain region Black Forest because of the densly-packed conifer trees
