One metal yter I watch (Goniloc) on weekly basis gave a recommendation on their song "Mountains of Might" (specifically that album cover) and It was such a chilly song! Very atmospheric. Or do you have some other of their songs in mind I should check out? And for nwbm I'd recommend Mgła, especially their 2 recent albums "Exercise in Futility" (2015) and the more recent one "Age of Excuse" (2019). The latter came out of nowhere and the fans enjoyed every single second of it. They said they spent 4 years on the project without posting it on social media, and proceeded to drop a masterpiece. It actually attracted new folks into metal (I gave my friend a taste of Age of Excuse and he immediately asked me about other metal songs, so I gave him Metallica lol.) I wanted to gave him my all time brutal death like None so Vile or Forced Gender Reassignment but I was afraid I might scar him for life 😂.
