The fact that she dated and fooled even Daredevil for years, just says what an impressive and skilled spy she is. She'd have to be an incredible actor and liar, and its fair to assume shes capable of keeping cool and maintaining a steady heartbeat. At first I thought Daredevil's lack of suspicion was a plot hole due to his ability to detect lying, but nah, Black Widow's just one of the best spies in marvel lol. Never got to see this cutscene because daredevil has been on every team of mine since around 06 lol.

The entire point of all this cryptic bullshit and convos was purely just to find out *why* Doom was obsessed with gaining Odin’s power using something called Project: All-Father, which was essentially a safety measure put in for how to put a stop to Odin should Asgard become an enemy to Earth.

The epilogue revealed that Black Widow really was a double agent, and Weasel was helping her. The game never did reveal who she was working for though. My theory is she was working for Tony Stark, who was being persecuted by SHIELD at the time. Then in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, Black Widow joins Tony on the side of Pro Registration. She helps Iron Man to practically run SHIELD right under Maria Hill's nose. The Pro Reg ending culminates in the Registration Act being amended, and Tony becoming the new Commander of SHIELD. Black Widow helped Tony accomplish all this with the support and intelligence she provided on Fury and SHIELD. But that's just my theory, my game theory.

Well damn! It's the best theory I've seen and lines up perfectly with the sequel. Edit: also explains why she had nothing to fear and how she got past Daredevil. Sure she probably has training to mask/alter her heartbeat, but still I'd be sweatin a lot less if my secret boss was Iron Man rather than Doom lol.

Good theory, and what I love about 616, EMH, and MCU Black Widow is that they're more lovable anti-heroines who seem to be treacherous, but genuinely care enough to fight on the side of good while Ultimate, apart from the good traits like badass ruthlessness, master espionage and inspiration for modern stories of the Black Widow, she's too much of a rabid villainous terrorist traitor to actually like or root for her.

Although, can you explain why Ultimate Iron Man played the boss battle against Black Widow/Ultimate Black Widow Mission in the PSP version of Marvel Ultimate Alliance? I know it's different from PS3 and X-Box 360 Gold Edition, but I like all three so much to make it a complete and perfect Avengers/Ultimates/Ultimate Avengers Game (Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Ant-Man/Giant-Man (NPC), War Machine (Alternate Skin for Iron Man), Black Panther, Spider-Woman, Ms. Marvel in all 3 consoles; Hulk in X-Box 360 Gold Edition; Black Widow in the PSP; and Hawkeye in both the X-Box 360 Gold Edition and the PSP).

@@maxxgunner5573 If you're referring to Black Widow's comic mission in the PSP version, your guess is as good as mine. My theory is that while Nick Fury and SHIELD were persecuting Tony and Stark Industries, Fury sent Black Widow to attack Iron Man directly. This resulted in a couple of fights between the two. One of which is Black Widow's comic mission. After Widow beats Tony in that mission, she tells him to hire better help next time. I imagine that Tony made her an offer right then and there. Impressed by Tony's audacity, charm, money, and long-term vision, Natasha cautiously agreed. I also theorize that in exchange for Black Widow becoming his personal mole inside of SHIELD, Tony agreed to work with Fury on future operations. He even lets SHIELD use Stark Tower as a base of operations for all of Act 1 of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. The events of Secret War and Civil War lead Black Widow to go all in with Tony and his plans. If you play as the Pro-Reg faction in that game, it culminates in them taking complete control over SHIELD, with Stark as its new commander. But this is all just my theory, my game theory.

9:43 LMAO, yeah right! You mean to tell me that Doom stole plans for stealing Odin's powers months ago and when he assembled a massive team of supervillains with an "unknown" massive plan in mind, with steps that obviously lead to "operation all-father" (like stealing a tome with the coordinates to the place with the twilight sword or his association with Loki), you didn't immediately catch on to what he was about to do? You didn't think that at least bringing it up and trying to take countermeasures to intercept any potential "operation all-father" might be a good idea? It's obvious that you knew all along but just didn't want anyone to know about this insane plan to take frickin Odin's powers. There shouldn't have been any doubt as soon as the tome of asarius was revealed to have been stolen by the masters of evil. And at that point you could've easily devised a plan to intercept Doom's plot to take the Twilight sword, instead of uselessly sending your team to Mandarin's palace. You risked so many lives just so you didn't have to reveal "classified information". Either that, or you somehow didn't catch on to the most obvious plot ever. You're garbage either way.
