Great insight and well researched as always! It appears that Harry is in the devalue stage of the narcissist cycle. Pretty easy when you look back to see how she pursued/stalked him, then the Love bombing phase, how she snared him into the web (of lies), and now slowly he is becoming more and more irrelevant and she is just using him as Narc Supply. I also ordered Courtiers directly from a book store in England so I didn't have to wait until January. After reading both books, all I can say is hearing MEME speak makes my skin crawl. Ellen, With all due respect, there is an increasing and vocal constituency of British & Commonwealth people who dearly wish that US Citizens, like yourself, would find a replacement interest, hobby or pass-time rather than this unhealthy fascination with our Royal Family. The Royal Family are NOT celebrities, like the Kardashians, but an essential part of the way our political system operates to prevent over ambitious politicians from forgetting that their job is to serve "the people's" best interests and not their own. This fascination has resulted in Americans like Wallis Simpson believing the RF could continue her "Great Gatsby" lifestyle at the British taxpayers expense, to the current debacle of Meghan Markle who thought she could become Queen through "popularity" and then, if that was not possible, seek to destroy their reputation Worldwide with her army of American "sugars" via Social Media. Regretfully, the Royal Family have been identified by important sections of Corporate America as a big money earner for them by peddling downright lies and miss-information through TV productions like The Crown, with no regard or concern for accuracy or the truth. There surely must be something closer to home to follow as an interest, perhaps following mass-murders, racial outrages, police shootings of black people, Donald Trump's rhetoric, or Joe Biden's total lack of rhetoric, or something else to promote "Americana" to the World? Prince Harry is an idiot and disgrace plus an embarrassment to the UK & Commonwealth, but the Royal Family are dealing with him in their own way, quietly with dignity, slowly removing all his privileges and that which he, in his previous life, held dear. Her pulling his hand back at the UN genuinely made me gasp. I really was rooting for her when she got engaged. I wanted the best for her. I was a fan of Suits before knowing that she was dating Harry. But the more that I hear, the more convinced I become that she is not who she portrays herself to be. The way that she has cut off her family, the way that she has isolated Harry from his family, the way that she caused strife to Her Majesty in her final years…I just can’t ignore it. There’s nothing wrong with social climbing, IMO. Nothing wrong with marrying up. Nothing wrong with networking.
