This ending scene is on par with ending scene in season1 episode 13 The Cyprus Agency where they play "Sundown"

Overall, I think season 3 was very sloppy. The first 10 episodes were AMAZING! The relationship bonding between Red and Liz was fantastic! But starting with episode 12, the writers made Liz treat Red in a way that made all the bonding they went through as if it never happened. And then, it became so inconsistent. With one episode having Liz say she can't forgive Red for lying about her mother, to the next one having her ask Red to be at her wedding. There is no good transitions. And the cherry on top of of piss off I am is that she fakes her death, puts Red and the Task Force through all that pain and complete destroys all that they went through together in first arc. Know I understand they wanted Liz to feel unsafe around red, but they could've easily done that better because the way Liz went from being so grateful to Red for clearing her name to underlie despising him again was out of nowhere. Compare this with season 2; Liz sees a memory of Red being at her house when her father died. Logically she would assume Red killed him because of how he acts about the subject. But I always figured Red didn't commit the murder and was hiding something to insure Liz didn't feel some kind of way. Near the end, Liz becomes determined to know the truth and when she finally finds out she killed her father, she completely understood why Red did what he did and their relationship becomes stronger. Here, they go from great terms to bad terms with a snap of the fingers with no real transition. I was never expecting Red and Liz's relationship to remain the way it did at the end of episode 10, but this was just sloppy. I have not yet seen the rest of the show, so if you're going to comment, please let it be about just season 3.

I remember that the Megan Boone, actor of Liz was pregnant around that time so the production team had to find a way for the character to disappear from the screen for a while. But the execution was so bad I couldn't stand it. This is partly why I stopped watching after season 3.
