This was taken at the Blackwood Brothers concert at Sandy Bottom Christian Church in Madison Heights, VA on August 12, 2012. Group members are tenor Wayne Little, lead Jimmy Blackwood, baritone Billy Blackwood, bass Butch Owens, and pianist Mike Hammontree.

You can really tell the Blackwood's. Have followed them and many other groups since the 50's. My mother even went to school with the piano player for the Blackwood's back in the 50's

As a young child (and I barely remember) I would listen to some BLACKWOODS playing & singing . . . . . my mother's maiden name was Blackwood, and her parents played many instruments, plus they had 8 children!
