Dear Blasting Company, I just recently found your music through your work in the show over the garden wall, a soundtrack that made the show as good as potatoes and molasses, and so I dug around looking for more of your work. Never in my LIFE have I heard more skilled musicians able to make me laugh and cry, dance and swoon, in the same song. All of you experience and passion for what you do shines though all your work, and all the stories you carry with you season your every beautiful song. I love you all so much. Today was my grandma’s birthday, and its the first birthday we’ve had to celebrate since she died last year due to cancer complications. This song feels like when I called my grandpa to check in on him and to hear him, the result of an emotional guarded age, talk about how he is struggling with grief. I don’t know how to explain it, but as I’m crying right now typing this, this song is the perfect and probably only thing that could comfort me. 10/10 song, I’m making all my friends listen to this, and I can’t wait to see what’s next.

@Ivie It’s a year later, but I hope your grandfather is still going strong despite the grief. And, I hope you’re doing well. I never comment, but your comment and this song resonate with me. My grandfather is now bedridden, and once a strong and stubborn man, is now talking about his eventual passing. I’m not an emotional person. To me, this song feels like coming to terms with something. Some past wrong, some current trouble, who you are, anything.
