So many of his messages have informed, guided and blessed my life. Help him to obey the Holy Spirit concerning his Pastorship, life and family. He is still growing lord and help him to always be willing to continue to grow. Help him to preach and teach the gospel without compromise in Jesus name I pray.

2 years ago I had asked God to Bless me with job ,He did exactly that......Little did I know that 2 years later I will suffer from anxiety because I have departed from his word ,I was too preoccupied by work, I lost weight ,went into more debts, struggling to take care of my kids 😭 I act strong and happy but deep down I'm broken...This message has restored my Faith in Jesus!!! My sermon notes for "Friends//The blessing of desperation" week 4: 1.) You will always be as anointed as long as you are willing to be desperation 2.) What does desperation mean? Definition of desperation: having lost hope, moved by despair, extreme suffering, and intense anxiety 3.) God rewards desperation, I'd you want to stay desperate, you have got to deal with distractions. There are blessings that come from being desperate. To the extent that you are willing to be broken by the hand of God is to the extent that you will carry the spirit of breakthrough that the Lord wants to put upon your life 4.) Distraction to desperation: 1. Competition and comparison. It kills desperation, don't compete where you don't compare. When did you buy into the lie that defeating your spiritual siblings is what communicated to God that you are prepared to receive your next blessing? 2. Desperation to distraction: well-meaning people are distractions to desperation. They will kill your flame 3. Desperation to distraction: a double portion. If the only time that you will pray is to get something from God, then he will not give it to you so you will continue to pray and stay desperate. The key to getting more of what you ask for in prayer is continuing to pray after you get it. The blessing of God will always lead you to increased intimacy with God. The favor of God will always lead you into more fellowship with God, so if what you call "favor" leads you to a spiritual neuropathy it's not a blessing but a distraction to your desperation. God will give you a double portion, he wants to reward your desperation and faith, but when you get a double portion, will you consume it or worship with it? The reason why you get blessed is so that you have more to worship with. Don't allow anything that this world has to offer you, satisfy your pallet to the extent that you are rendered ineffective for the kingdom of God. God is about to pour out over an in-partition of desperation unlike anything that you have ever experienced before. What amazing and awesome thing God has done in your past he has plans to out do himself Scripture reference: 1 Samuel 1:1-2

I praise God for your testimony and what He is doing in your life. God bless you. However, I'd just like to address a point you made: If the only time that you will pray is to get something from God, then he will not give it to you so you will continue to pray and stay desperate. This is not true. God does NOT hold back from us. He has given us EVERYTHING we need that pertains to life and godliness (2 Peter 1 :3) When God wants to bring you close, He will bless you with more. It is actually wickedness to withhold from your child because they only come to you when they want something. As a human, by His grace, I won't even do that to my own kids. If I am sure of anything, it is that in EVERYTHING, God is ALWAYS good. Never wicked, never unkind. God bless x

I took it as, we wouldn't appreciate the blessing unless we received it from a cry in a place of desperation. For example, I cannot sustain my household however we are never lacking and I know for sure it is God because of the place of desperation I am in there's no logical way possible I could've achieved it in my own strength. It's divine intervention. Had I not been this desperate I may have tried to take the glory for myself like I did it on my own, however I cannot all thee glory goes to God ....hope this helps love you ❤️
