Very happy to hear about your guys prosperity. They said angels are in heaven, but I'd like to think they live on earth too doing the miracles and wonders of gods divine goodness through man.We each have a purpose but also freewill to choose what we do with it. And she chose something that even I might have not done. I would have gladly helped. But would have been to scared and am to poor to let a person live in my home. Apparently, his “white savior” parents never adopted him, it was a conservatorship like Brittney Spears one. They made millions off royalties from this movie and never gave him a dime. They made him believe they were going to adopt him (because they seen he had potential to be a NFL player) but they didn’t. Instead, they had him in a conservatorship to make business deal off his name. Which proves that they never really loved him, because he probably was never going to be on their will, only their children were. Even though they used him to make millions and Bullock won an oscar based on a false story. This is no different than missionaries that want to be the white savior of Black people so bad even though they’re the ones that colonized black people. So there is that!
@BLTKellys Жыл бұрын
When they picked up him off the street do you think they did it out of concern. Was any part of it real.
@mula9058 Жыл бұрын
@@BLTKellys “out of concern” my behind. They did it because they seen potential and knew that with their connections and a little training and PR, they will get him in the NFL and use his image to make money. They knew everything before they did it, the movie was the 🍒 on top. Good thing he found out, better late than never. The conservatorship was the deal breaker fasho, not even adoption but conservatorship, smh.

Wonderful movie. Real tearjerker. Watched it again last night. This movie just restores your faith in humanity. Not sure folks quite realize just how bad and difficult life can be in some of these inner city neighborhoods. Back in the early 90s, I was taking some classes at a college here in NJ. College was about a 20 minute ride from Newark, NJ. One of the other students in the class was from Newark. One day we are talking and he says to me,, "I don't think I am going to make it." I started right in, "don't say that. You are smart. You can do this. Just keep hitting the books hard, you will make it." He looks at me and says, "no, you don't understand." And out of his pocket he takes a bullet and shows it to me. He says, "There's been a lot of shooting on my block lately, I don't know if I am going to make it..."

A very beautiful and inspiring story! Makes me cry each time i watch. I'm moved by the strong character of Leigh Anne, she is tough but also very feminine, very inspiring!

Why they stopped making simple movies like this? They relate to us, they teach, they're comforting to watch. So tired of superhero movies
