Thankyou for making this video from a finished perspective rather than posting monthly as it goes forward. So satisfying seeing progress in one video. These are volunteers . Imagine if you had 10 or 20 men with Mathias' skill leading a workteam of maybe 100 or 200 tradesmen. The scale of the whole site is incredible.

I was sad when Lincoln Island blew up before they got to building a blockhouse on Jules Verne's "Mysterious Island". This video more than makes up for it.

A fascinating project -- I'm incredibly impressed by your achievements, Matthias! (Your video also answered a question from my own life: my grandparents lived in an area called Blockhouse Bay, I'd always wondered at the origins of the name, and now I know...)

@@matthiasburger2315 This was pretty cool. I love timber frame buildings and the Auto translate close captions were good enough for me to follow along. It's cool to see the fortress society able to partner with schools for labor and student practical experience. Please update when more progess videos are made.

Thank you, Matthias. Excellent work by the volunteer crew. Do you work only on restorations?
@matthiasburger23152 жыл бұрын
That is only a hobby. My real job doesn't have to do with that - if you meant to ask that.
