The most underrated band ever, should have been massive. Perhaps, that would have taken something away from them though. Raw talent over glitz and glamour commercialisation, they stuck to their roots and for that should be respected. A loyal following the band has never abandoned, and in kind the band has never abandoned them. How is this for a thought, a concerted effort to take them to the top. If it can be done for Kate Bush it could be done for the Aeroplanes 😀♥ Going to see them in Glasgow in April 23, cannot wait. Thanks so much for posting this. Special.

Just re watched this for the first time in a while, but on a 57 inch not a phone, my god they are good, even after 40 years. Roll on Dec 2 2022. Anyone else catch here comes the sun and stones at the end. Sublime.

Listening to friendloverplane 2 and reminiscing about times gone by. Remembering seeing them 2-3 times when I was at uni in Bristol 86-89. Were brilliant as support act to R.E.M. in Newport May 89.
