When John retires they can be a proper Stranglers tribute band. I hear all the songs from all their albums endlessly playing in my mind but someone's scuffed the varnish a bit with the wrong grade sandpaper. Got the triple album and it's great but it's not the band.

I'm not agreeing with that. Front man is totally amazing, but you can't replace Hugh and then call it the Stranglers, or Jet or Dave for that matter.
