I performed in this arc. tuba for bdb. It really was a special experience performing with the a corps members. The 2 a corps tubas i was sandwiched in between were really nice and sitting in form of the arc when they performed when a man loves a woman is a memory I will cherish forever.

Can't understand what is being accomplished by playing dissonant long tones with intermittent blaring, other than the conductor gets to play "God." I'd rather hear the lip slurs at at beginning. Back in the days of Jack Meehan (Sr.) there was always some cool swing and blues exercises.
