The Blue Marlin - NES Longplay

My Discord server : / discord Probably the greatest fishing game I've ever played in my life. In my opinion, it's kinda like Jaws, but you go fishing instead of shooting at the fish and stab Jaws. It involves a sort-of RPG-ish mechanic into it, where you go around the water surface and get into a school of fish until one bites the bait on the fishing rod. It's a neat little idea, the only downside is that the tournament only accept billfish entries (Sailfish, Swordfish, Striped Marlin, Black Marlin and Blue Marlin). This makes the player actually have to wait until there's a marlin spawn behind a school of fish, or an orca, or a flock of seagulls. While waiting for the billfish to appear, the player can also go fishing on other species to upgrade the body and muscle level, which helps a lot on fishing heavier species in later rounds of the tournament.
Overall, a really fun game to play, and I highly recommend you guys to try it out!
This is also my first time recording on a real console. Bought the AV Famicom back in second half of 2023, but I didn't have the equipment(s) to record the game(s).
