Hi how much the yellow taxi fare from Istanbul airport to Sultanahmet? I heard about the scams from taxi driver. Just a bit confused as I'll be heading there with my elderly father. Thought to take metro but not possible with him

@@Dtigernumber1 The taxi fare is around $35 but it’s very easy to get the bus and it is only $6.5 per person. In your case you can take a taxi but before you hop on just confirm the price with the driver and if you pay with credit card just read what they charge you when you tap your credit card. One taxi driver charged me more when we arrived and I found out after he left. There are scams with taxi drivers all over Istanbul. If you take a taxi always ask to turn on the taximeter which is very cheap or tell them how much you willing to pay them. I made another Airport info video you may watch. At the end there are comparisons of different transportation type. But if your father can walk a little bit you can take the elevator outside the airport directly to the buses and the prices are fixed and rides are good and comfortable.
