Another wonderful episode. Congratulations on your collaboration with The Fibre Co. That’s a real honor! Loved the two children’s books you shared. I’m retired now after 39 years of teaching, and each year I would read the story of Farmer Brown and his sheep to my Kindergarten and first grade classes and the kids loved it! I also bought one for my grandson since he sees me and his mom knitting a lot! The other book is adorable and and it has such a nice message. You’re so lucky that your mom found one! I couldn’t help but notice the framed picture you have right behind you. Those words were part of our wedding vows so many years ago.

It was lovely to catch up with you again! I really enjoyed seeing your sweater and hearing about all the ways you have modified it to improve the fit. Thank you for sharing the video about grafting your live stitches to the cast-on edge. And congratulations on your new pattern release! I hope you have a great time at the Edmonton Fibre Frolic! I hope to go again one day, but it’s a little far for me. I actually don’t live too far from Long Way Homestead and have been to the farm when Anna has hosted a small fibre market there in the summer. It would seem winter has showed up here in Southern Manitoba as well. The snow is finally here. (Though, thankfully, it’s not a huge amount, yet. 😋)

Hi Ana, I love the sock story! Thanks for sharing. Congratulations on your first sale, it's always a thrill that might be repeated but won't be as satisfying as the very first. As for your gorgeous fade cardigan, I'm probably too late, but might you want to turn it into a vest, considering its weight? I wear them a lot in the fall and this one seems most appropriate for it. You could even wear anothe knit underneath for double the warmth. It's probably what I'll do, anyway (i.e., not knit the sleeves) when I buy your pattern. Love the colours, BTW, they're definitely not too bright for me. Take care, stay safe.

Hi from SW Calgary. I'm a 1st Time Watcher but knew you had to be from Alberta when you mentioned both Luddite and Gingersnap Yarns! I made to the Calgary and Lacombe yarn festivals but not sure I will make it to Edmonton with all the snow we have had in the past week. Not sure 7 hours of driving is in my best interest. I would love to see the Crux Fibres booth....sigh Have fun!

@@janetgillett7122 Hi Janet, I think an adventurous beginner would do just fine! You would need to learn how to work twisted stitches, but they are really not difficult (easier than cables imo!). If you get stuck, you can message me on Instagram and I can send you some tutorial links.

Yes, I think the underarm gussets I talked about really help but that could also be an issue with colour work gauge. I’d have to see the project to know more!
