Another great podcast, thank you! No need to apologize for infrequent videos - you are one busy lady and I don't know how you fit it all in (family, farm, birds, knit designer, etc). Makes me appreciate every new podcast you're able to put out 🙂 Your Mala tank top is in my queue to knit this summer - so pretty.

Hi Anna, can you imagine I must have overlooked your podcast of 5th May. I guess my nose must have been to deep in yarnstash and stitches 🤪. How nice to see you again on the podcastscreen. 🌷 What a lovely pile of FO and designs you showed us. 😃 I am looking forward to the June release of the garment you showed us your swatch, so beautiful. And the 2 absolutely cute cardigans of your girls. WOW. You really should write down the pattern, you know. I enjoyed every single minute watching. Looking forward to you WIP designs you showed us. Now I am off to episode 21. I feel extra spoiled this evening ! 😉 Take care. 🎶

I appreciate that you take the time out of your day to podcast for us! It’s a great way to publicize your designs; which I love, btw. I don’t find time to knit even a few things each year so am in awe. I also live on a small homestead in southern Spain, with sheep and chickens. We are facing a terrible drought here too. We need to buy in hay for the sheep and this year it is expensive and in short supply. We are having to consider reducing the number of sheep we have drastically.

Awwww, Anna, thanks so much for mentioning my little podcast 🤩🤩🤩🤩you are such a special, caring person😍thank you! congratulations on securing the "secret" pattern release!!! you are so talented and put so much heart and hard work in what you do that you deserve this success and many others!!! The mala scarf is very beautiful, but I don't wear skinny scarves either. Still I feel like a lot of people may enjoy it. that colourwork jumper is stunning!!! and I am really intrigued by the shoulder construction you have been using lately. Looks great and I am pretty sure it fits like a dream. So much to enjoy in this episode ❤❤❤❤❤thanks so so much for your support xxx

Your vlogs are always worth waiting for Anna, that colour work jumper looks amazing and your daughters cardis were very cute. I love hearing about your farmlife and regarding your rams, it sounds like you have a healthy respect for what you consume. For some reason we are left feeling like we have to be one extreme or another these days, either anti anything to do with consuming meat because an animal must perish for it or the other end, to be entirely detached and without care, which is how we are used to treating it when we buy it from the supermarket. Its a true reality check when you have to aknowledge you are a human being with compassion and common sense and that you still need to eat. Your situation is a wonderful one to be in and you are approaching it all in a perfectly normal way as far as Im concerned. I hope you enjoy your summer, your weather sounds quite warm but everywhere else, europe, uk and most of the US, Im hearing its unseasonably cold, you may get rain yet. Happy knitting, Cheers, Tara

You're prioritising what you need to do, never apologise for that. The girls' new knitwear is gorgeous ❤ Can't get over the price you paid for that yarn and shipping though, that's madness. Anyone who says handmade is a cheap option needs to take up a craft and find out for themselves! Lovely to see you again ❤

Thanks for another great episode Anna- it is amazing that you find the time with your busy busy life. I admire your ability to sit down and come up with designs so quickly (like the girls’ Easter cardigans). I really like the lace design but personally not a big fan of the skinny scarf. Hope your family is not affected by any of the wildfires and that your well and pond fill up!

Anna why are you so hard on yourself? People understand life is busy and you do what you can. Also you did what was necessary with the rams and you got some fine wool from them also. Thanks for the recommendation I’m going to have to check them out. Great job on all you knits. They are beautiful. Thanks again for a wonderful episode and take time to relax a bit.

I love the skinny scarf and it is perfect for all the pretty fingering weight hand dyed skeins. I think including an i-cord edging would take care of the rolling garter edge. Looking forward to seeing the publication of the pattern in that lovely Farmer's Daughter Fibers yarn, it is gorgeous yarn.

Love your designs, Anna! Bought your newest, and the Garti Cardi, though I probably won’t get to cast on for several months. I really want all my long term WIPs finished this year & so that’s my main goal…. if I can refrain from succumbing to test knits😅 But I was very good and told myself I must not apply for your lovely colourwork one. I’ve got a cable jumper test on the needles due in July 🥵😁Thanks for creating so many beautiful patterns & sharing your processes!

I love the pattern on your thin scarf but I would love to make it as a spring to fall wrap. What pattern did you say the chart was from?
@thebluebirdbox Жыл бұрын
The one twisted lace stitch pattern is from Norah Gaughn’s Twisted Stitch Sourcebook (an in-print book) but the charts for the scarf are mine. I’ll consider turning it into a wrap, that would be more functional I think!
