I live in an older home and my 110 outlets are not adequate for a small welder I have. I do have a similar size power pack like you were showing and it works just fine for welding for a short period of time. Pretty amazing technology. Having the system that you showed just makes camping a little more awesome.

Way ahead of you here! Purchased the Bluetti AC200Max to power my Airstream RV if needed and my essential home needs during a power outage here on the Oregon coast. Also have a smaller, portable EB3A for CPAP power, either in AC or DC modes. It does have phone charging on the top and a built in light! I have solar panels available for each and extension cords to place panels at various sites around my house for maximum sun exposure and a smaller panel to hang outside my second story balcony with good SW and west exposure sun. Love my Bluetti! By the way they have/ had nice little LED camp lights to hang around, take up very little space and easy to recharge. Bought with the Bluetti Bucks from my solar power purchases! Thanks again for you informative episode!

Indeed, having different sizes for different uses is the way to go. Thanks for sharing! 🤙

I’m going camping soon with a CPAP machine and while I can’t afford the solar panels yet, I find AC50 to have enough power to power my silly machine for at least 2 nights. So with all the considerations good and bad, I think this might be the winner.

If you're really interested I have this unit that I reviewed with the solar panel, used it only for the review and everything is still in the boxes. I'll be putting it on my gear focus channel soon for a good price (as I always do) and it will probably go fairly fast, so if interested let me know and I can give you first shot at it if you're in the US... It is a dandy unit for sure but I just have too many. 😎

@Alien Drones, how would you rate this power generator if I placed it in a safe to power watch winders? Would there be any issues with the fan/heat? Thanks in advance!
@AlienDrones5 ай бұрын
I really like this power bank, it is stable and doesn't run the fan much unless pulling decent current. It might work depending on the draw of the device but I'd be nervous putting it in an enclosed space if it were too small as if the fan needed to run it would probably heat the air and get into a thermal runaway condition. If the safe sq ft were large enough though (like a walk-in) and it were somewhat cool to begin with I'd be fairly comfortable with it for sure.

@@AlienDrones thanks! It’s a pretty large safe (24 rifles). But I see your point. I’m currently using a goal zero yeti 400 to power the watch winders. Looking for something with a bigger capacity at the moment.

Can I use a 700w microwave?
@AlienDrones2 ай бұрын
I'm not a microwave expert but I believe the microwave wattage is the cooking chamber watts, not the watts used by the power cord. If the cooking chamber wattage is 700W then I believe the actual watts from the wall based on the current draw (what the power bank will see) is closer to 1100W, so it probably won't work, but it depends on the microwave. Look at your microwave specs and see if they list "power consumption" on it, these are the watts the power bank correlates to.

Not currently available on Amazon...they don't ship to Hawaii anyway.

That's weird, must be shipping to Hawaii, I'm showing everything in stock on Amazon on my end. Maybe soon since this is a new release... 🤙

I’m incredibly disappointed that unlike the Eb55, this does not have the 2 DC inputs, which made it possible to charge up to 400w via 2 DC sources. Incredibly valuable, and discarded in this model. Had this model retained that feature, even in the absence of solar, one could have charged it with 2 high output power banks, assuming they had adapters for a barrel jack and an xt60, from usb c. Instead this only has one such input, and it caps at 28v. I am incredibly disappointed because it shows that Bluetti has lost touch with the use case scenarios of their own products and this leads to stagnation instead of innovation and directionless marketing.

Every thing you mentioned here, EcoFlow can do and better and at a better price 😂
@AlienDrones5 ай бұрын
Yeah, I have one I home built that can do even better than Ecoflow but it is nice that both are US based. Maybe I should sell my prototype to them... 😅

@@jampam-jf8mt don’t think so - I picked up my Delta 2 1800w on sale for $629 and it comes with the (cigarette lighter) car charger (unlike Jackery which charge extra)
