I love your geenoe , I had one when I was a kid, 40 plus years ago, pretty basic, 7.5 Johnson on the back, trolling motor, battery, and cinder blocks in the front to keep the bow down while under way. A bunch of my fondest memories, and life lessons were learned on that boat..

When I do our pickled red onions, I use oregano and black peppercorns. I just pour the boiling half vinegar half water over the onions in a wide mouth mason jar. When I cools down closer to room temp, I cap it and put in the fridge. Sometimes I'll add chopped garlic and or sliced fresh jalapeno.. Pickled red onions are the best on so many things.
