Bob rarely mentions his mother in the show, so it completely caught me off guard when they actually showed her in that flashback. And to know that Louise hat was made for her because he reminds her of his mom actually got me in the feels 😄

I personally loved the musical numbers. Like I really liked "Sunny Side Up Summer" and "Lucky Duck". I personally absolutely adored the show and was still feeling a great deal of joy left over from the movie after having left the theater over an hour before.

My parents hated the artwork and refused to watch it no matter how much I told them it was awesome. Then they relented, now they adore it, and we're going to see the movie together tonight. 10/10 full conversion 😁

That's the beauty of well made things, be it shows, films or even (and most prominently) video games. It can look like ass but so long as it's content is solid, in Bob's Burgers case the humour and cast that delivers it so well, you can give it any lick of paint and people will enjoy it.

Hilarious you avoided the porno spoof tie-in for a movie whose only connection to a big-screen release is the name shared, which is one of several. I figure if you were gonna do a Top Gun tie-in, it would be its cheesy contemporary: Iron Eagle.

As a die hard bobs burgers fan, I absolutely loved this movie. I agree that some of the Tina and Gene plots did not get a lot of screen time, but if they didn’t have them, it wouldn’t feel like a true bobs burger movie. Some of the action, especially the car chase may not have been needed but you can’t deny that seeing it for the first time in theaters doesn’t send a rush down your spine. My only real gripe is the murder plot wrapped up WAAAAY too quickly. Once the family had that sweet moment in the [spoiler] I was ready for round two of the belchers ready to kick some sweet ass but no- they catch the murderer mere seconds later. Overall I think it was a great movie and if you’ve fallen in love with the belchers as much as I have this is a must see

I wasn't into the show at first mainly due to it's art and animation what got me to give it a try was that i recognised the voice of Harry Benjamin who voice Archer but i gave it a shot i really enjoyed it. Both Jean and Louise provide the most laughs for me along with Teddy, Bob acts as a kind of straight man anchoring the show compared to his family out there weirdness with Linda providing the heart. And yeah i love that family even after so many years hasn't lost it's core and that the family so many other adult animated shows usually end up with the family all hating each other and devolving into stereotypes of there own characters. So far Bob Burgers as remained grounded. Just a show about a Restaurant owner trying to keep his business afloat while dealing with his quirky family.

It's a lighthearted musical comedy. If you dont expect alot from it you will have a great time, it was alot of fun. The musical numbers are overall good. Gene and Bob are hysterical. I agree that Tina's side story could of been taken out and it wouldn't of changed the movie. Overall I give it a 8 out of a 10.

"You could easily switch out an episode form Season 1 and 10 Season 10 and it would work just as well" Have you tried doing that? Season 1 has a completely different feel to it than Season 10 (or most of the series now), thanks to things like the style and pacing of jokes, as well as characters like Louise not being watered down yet. The show has completely lost its edge and even though you were talking about the movie, you summed up what the show is now, "completely harmless". The first 2 or 3 Seasons in particular were often more adult, a bit dark at times, had jokes firing out left and right with a lot more variety in them, nothing was held back just because little kids who shouldn't be watching might be watching (Bouchard said he changed things after finding out through a parent that little kids watch and quote the show), Louise episodes weren't repetitive, Teddy wasn't just an annoying idiot, Linda at least had some level of rationality and everyone didn't just shit all over Bob all the time. Seriously, what's with everyone being incredibly rude and disrespectful to Bob now? No one ever apologies and they always blame him for everything, even when he did literally nothing. That's not enjoyable to watch. On the plus side as well as on more on topic, I did actually enjoy the last half of the movie. It wasn't super great and not very funny but I had a good time, especially with the part in the car, getting the flashback with Bob's mum. Also Bob realizing how hard it must be on Linda, with her always having to be the positive one, so we got some unexpected character development there. I also like how they introduced the villain in the series before the movie, rather than having him just show up in the movie out of nowhere.

Honestly, I'm a big fan of Bob's burgers 🍔 but I don't really have anyone to talk about the show with.. 😕 so it was nice to have a whole theater of people watching it and laughing together ❤️ 😄.. though I agree it was just a regular episode that was padded with singing and alot of strange dancing 💃 which was kinda weird to look at.. but there were plenty of excellent jokes with the dialogue 😉 the fact that the voice actors also incouraged to do improv lines helps keep everything fresh and random So I'm glad it was a movie.. though now I fear Family guy will want a movie too?

Can I stream it? I wouldn't pay for this. I really feel the quality of this show has gone down the last few seasons and I'm at a point where I hate most of the characters due to their lack of growth.
