Hello, a newsletter to inform shop update, or new creations, would be so nice, I think. After your podcast, I've bought Lakeside Stitches, and you were so right, all the patterns are amazing ! I want to knit all of them too... I dream about a cabled sweater for so long, and the Iltatuuli is gorgeous. The yarn she used, is a very airy yarn, I've already knitted a sweater with it. Thank you for the book ! It was a so good idea !

I recommend trying the Alternating cable cast on. It gives you a lovely rolled edge with one by one ribbing, and it's really easy to do.

Lovely video! Thank you for taking the time to record and share your lovely knits. I knit an Eclair pullover by Laura Penrose in Filcolana Highland wool and it’s a lovely and soft yarn… but, in my case, it pilled significantly. I wonder if it depends on the colourway (mine is Dijon). I’ve only used the yarn once. I’d be interested to know how your pullover fares. In any case, the colours you chose for your Levi are gorgeous!! Bon tricot et surtout joyeux anniversaire !!

My sweater in Peruvian also pilled a lot. But it is so soft. I will not use it for a sweater again. Maybe it will be better with mohair, some have recommended that …

I’ve almost caught up from the beginning. I’m also a woolly wool knitter. I’m following your sock journey with interest as I try and convince myself to knit socks and no nylon for sure. We watch many of the same podcasts. I’m going to Edinburgh and Shetland in July. I’m looking forward to picking out one of your stitch markers from Ginger Twist. One request, can you leave the pictures of pattern up for longer. I like to refer to it while you are taking about it.

Perhaps knit his mittens in DK Rauma “3 tråds Strikkegarn” … 11 wraps per inch instead of Finul’s 12 wraps per inch Sport Weight?

Your Rhue sweater is so wonderful, congratulations ! I will want one too, looking out for this pattern. You can also do the ribbing on the mittens with smaller needles. For the color work mittens you can use a bigger yarn with bigger needles and follow the pattern, it should work. Rauma 3 tråds Strikkegarn is a DK, it should work. Your Celeste sweater is also looking so good, it is inspiring. Here is a link for a tubular cast-on starting with a crochet cast-on : Tubular Cast On in the round using any standard CO (cable, LTCO, etc.) // Technique Tuesday by Roxanne Richardson : kzbin.info/www/bejne/a6vXm4eAadl2pa8 I think you will like this technique a lot. Isager mohair is really soft. I wish you a happy birthday, may you realize one of your deepest wishes this year.

Agreed! Get a heavier weight yarn and go up to an appropriate needle size for the mittens.
