You are incorrect about the first hull loss.The first one was in 1990, when Xiamen 8301 (a 737-200) was hijacked and crashed upon landing at Old Guangzhou airport, first colliding with a parked China Southwest 707 on the apron with only minor damages, but then slammed straight into China Southern 3523, the 757-200 on the taxiway, killing 128 people and writing off both aircraft.

The 757 is still flying and will only stop flying in the 2030s at bare minimum. Also, the last 757 built does not look like an Airbus and it didn’t go to American Airlines.
