Contrary to all the harsh comments out here, I think it makes sense somebody who has been in all the ups and downs in this field gets pointed out to be the one that brings the Gap back. Being in the creative field as an architect, his last comments about "not forgetting it is a business" makes total sense to me. It made me remember the speech Anna Winter gave at Oxford about first learning the business to later develop yourself. I believe sometimes people romanticize or has this purist idea about the creative jobs as he also mentions and places it very elegant. I love what I do and it totally changes your perspective when you finally balance: understanding the business, deliver what the client wants and doing your vision. A balance that not everyone understands or can do.

how about more interviews with Asian Fashion leaders? Love to hear how they've move in the landscape of the business; the share population and impact they have locally and globally in the last few years is something to recognize.

Poor Zac, he’s so nervous. You’re an amazing designer, you’ll do great❤

Zac belongs in a couture house . Gap is too market driven basic . . Jenna Lyons or similar would have been ideal to add that twist in that market perhaps?

lol they went for the complete opposite of Kanye but this definitely will not move the needle - I didn't even know Gap was still open.

Maybe I missed it... but if I was in the "business of fashion" I would definitely be advertising who made Zac's denim shirt? It is a great shirt, and I would expect he would be wearing something from Banana Republic or the Gap...if he didn't make the shirt himself?

He is a great designer, but he loves more to be at the opening of an envelope that in the studio, so honestly this for me is Halston 2.0 and hopefully he doesn't end up like him. But this is clearly a very miss match couple, just the result that he can charm rich people to believe the dream, but in real life.... Also wondering how much this add disguised as an interview costed to gap.

He is one of the most intreating and talented designer who know sew to pattern and sale. I wish Burberry or Lanvin, or Alexander McQueen hired him somebody take card of him properly and he deserves to be top of the high end word. i didnt know that he work here i following BP kind of i like new version of it, but his company rob his talent and they should fired him to go back where he belong the big high end world

Who is this interviewer? He is so rude by looking at his cellphone while the person being interviewed talking.
