Glad you changed out the brass for copper. I watched the other video and looked at the brass with concern

Those parts went together beautifully, great craftsmanship. Flanging copper is very satisfying to do and watch. Thanks for putting up may sticker and channel promotion, much appreciated.

Great project 👍I'm building one myself now and I watch you videos if I don't understand the drawings,it's a great help. Why did you flange the copper sidewalls in the boiler (on the drawing they are not flanged 3mm copper flat) ?
@dreamsteam82722 ай бұрын
A flange is recommended in any case. it expands the soldering area and offers better grip. It is also easier to assemble before soldering. Due to the geometry, the soldering point is also pressed together under steam pressure and is therefore even relieved by the high pressure!

Theyre comming from J.D.Waal. you may find them by Google.... but after a while in the hobby, i think they are a little bit to fiddley and complicatet designet ....

I was waiting for 30 episodes to see how will you fabricate the boiler... First disappointment was when i saw you using brass, turned/milled elements instead of annealed copper (episode 29), but you fixed that nicely here, second one: i was wondering how are you going to bend the fire tubes (those exposed to direct fire from the burner), but you picked the easy way making them straight (and lowering boiler eddiciency at the same time). Now - you are sending the boiled for silver soldering... I'm making this model as well and paused some months ago to see how you make it. It's not fair, mate!:):):):):):):) Any plans to show the video about soldering? Thanks

Hey....! Relax.... there will be another 2 or 3 videos about that boiler. In the moment, i figure out how to install the steamdome.... so.... There will be more! And soldering of course !!!! 😊

@dreamsteam82723 жыл бұрын

@dreamsteam82723 жыл бұрын
