I agree however Hope lost Liam, Thomas and her Line mostly because Steffy can't stay out of Hope's business so I think she is tired of doing the right thing because to her it doesn't look like it ever worked in her favor. Steffy got Liam threw scheming and manipulation, encouraged Thomas to leave Hope, cancelled her line without trying to see why its failing, bashes her mother every chance she get's and constantly tells her she is not a Forrester. While Steffy is CEO with the perfect husband and family. There is only so much a person can take before they snap and when Carter dangled that carrot of opportunity to her in the state that she is in yeah it makes since. She can get her line back, get revenge on Steffy and run the company with a man that finally loves her only and stands up to the Forrester's.

Carter was wrong and practiced poor judgment.He was unethical and a betrayed his friend’s trust. However, Steffy rules by jealousy and fickle emotions and is in her position not on merit but by being born into a prominent family. Maybe there is a counselor in her area who could help her see that?
