Somehow I could resonate myself with each of those ladies in their different phase of lives. How beautiful!! But the most marvellous character was Richard, how calm and composed is this man! So gracefully handled his emotions and supported his parter in every hurdles and indecisiveness.

i honestly felt Sutton rushed in too fast to make a decision without thinking much like she did about the wedding and then moving to CA. she is the kind who later regrets the decisions. hope she sees light and realizes, Richard is the anchor she needs in her life he will always support her. this is one couple who could show what a partnership truly is and marriages can be successful in spite of the adjustments. i hope they both see light.

Sutton's whole storyline during the final season of the show has been about her separation/divorce. Getting them together in the final episode would just mean that everything one of the 3 main characters has been through has been for nothing. Like, what's the point of us watching her go through a divorce and going down a spiral if they're just gonna get back together 5 episodes later. It's just gonna render Sutton's final episodes on the show as a massive waste of time.

Great show. It includes a life time of experience. The non alcohol consume could be longer tho then 2 chapters. It was to normalised to have a drink through the whole series for me. Probably a cultural thing. Overall a great story. Thank you guys !

How could they? She doesn't want to have kids and he does want to have kids. In fact he started the process to get one. How could she be a mom if she said she doesn't want to? Or is he going to adopt a kid of Carly's age and she will just be okay with that because they skip the baby stuff and get a mini adult? But what happens then? Richard would eventually want more kids or an own one from Sutton. And they would be back to ground zero.

Especially since when she went home and the one person said she was just like her mom... idk I think the mix of the two could also be a factor. I'm just saying it's a bit more complex that just that, especially if they both talked about having kids before that miscarriage happened.

I love & loved them as a couple, I think they love each other and probably always will. But I don’t think they should get back together, in some rushed romcom thing in the final episode or at all. The reason they broke up is extremely valid and warranted. To have one of them compromise to get them back together IMO would feel disingenuous and diminish the show’s authenticity.

I'm sorry but not Sam Page killing it as Richard Hunter 🥺his acting throughout the series has been such a comforting hug, his character has always believed in Sutton no matter how many times she changes, his wow in this scene, it's such a subtle line and yet kills it with emosh! I know some people say he gave up something he wanted for her…again….But after they had they’re fight he told Jacqueline I have to choose between a kid or Sutton, & he explains while he could have a kid, the missing piece would be her. To him she was more important in his life than a kid that wasn’t even there.

@@tade5719 I get how it's easy to see the smaller picture. But there are so many variables in that situation and that's what I think bothers me most. Not only was she in a different place career-wise (finally achieving what she'd literally worked so hard for every season) but she lost a child. Who can say what that did to her emotionally or even mentally. It's like she can't be forgiven for changing her mind.

Really even I don't understand why so much hate towards Sutton....i don't think she did anything wrong.....whether someone wants kid or not is not a decision you make at 26....some women may have maternal instincts from a very young age...but most don't....and you feel as you get older you might want to become a mom yet some women realise they aren't that maternal....and its perfectly alright....not all women are born to be mothers....also being so much older than Sutton Richard is much more experienced than her...he was 26 once and so knows the mind of a 26 year old.....he should 've been ready to face the consequences when he fell for a 26 yr old woman

I think selfish would have been having a surgery that cannot be reversed and not telling him.
