the best way to use bombardiers is with the statis subclass with the perk that when you dodge opponents get slowed, guaranteed always hits the explosion, nice to use against shotgun rushers

I think the best way to use these is with middle tree Gunslinger. Middle tree gives you the ability to regain your dodge faster when an enemy is burning, so you can just chain dodges so long as you hit with Bombardiers. You could also run Prometheus Lense with it and that causes burn as well so you can gain even more of your dodge back.

One of the fun ways to use bombardiers is as a kill ticket. It's a last minute weapon, you get like 3 people bunched up low and toss the bomb, then boom.

The bombadier's slow effect will slow enemies but not give slow stacks. So you won't be able to dodge and then shuriken to freeze them.

SirD the solar one can tie into the middle tree solar. You'll get more dodges as you burn opponents. Kinda feeds itself. And the void on is actually very nice as a mistake fixer with top tree void. Just dodge, go invis, suppress, and outgun or get out. Would be cool to see another vid with the other 2 elements lol. It's free real estate.

I must correct you sir, these pair very well with a shotgun. Specifically ones that couldn’t always one shot consistently so you would slide in, shoot, dodge away and it was a kill almost every time

Notes •Arc: less blinding effect the further they are from the blast, from about 3m onwards the blinding effect is basically non existant... though a direct blast will burn your retinas out •Void: supression duration is affected by blast radius (i think) •Solar: will alwaus burn the same damage no matter the blast radius, if they get caught itll burn them the same every time •Stasis: its impossible to freeze with the bomb, its a different slow effect

See, i think the solar is actually the best one. Always doing the burn, plus all the melee’s are ranged. Got a triple in trial as last guardian standing because I slid out from behind a corner, saw all three of them instantly rolled backwards throwing explosive knife and got the the triple. The bomb+explosive knife is easily the best combination with the bombadiers imo and They’ve been my primary exotics since they dropped.

Suppression also doesn't knock out of super. It just stops abilities from being activated. Suppression bombs also don't kick in during spectral. So sadly no outplaying a havoc rushing you

If youre using it with stasis, you should definitely be using the winters shroud aspect that freezes when you dodge.

Arc and Solar is the best use for these boots. For Arc, I see it more as more Anti CQC. Someone pushes with a shotgun you can dodge, blind em and damage em, then follow up with a melee. Solar's burn just really helps with middle tree. The burn damage recharges your dodge so you can always get your dodge back quick.

There are 3 ways to use Bombardiers... 1. Full W key (you bum rush everything with a shotgun or smg or even a sidearm.....if you miss any shots or you are trying to conserve ammo the bomb will clean up for you.) 2. You use it as a defense mechanism for apes. 3. Utility (corner checking people who are weak or campers./ baiting supers and shatterdives) The exotic is not really meant for slow 1v1 engagements like rumble. It thrives in a team setting when you push one person and get caught off guard by the enemy teammates or when a team is trying to collapse on you.

Before the large stasis nerf, I used Bombies with the slow dodge and a shuriken build to freeze people, and leave them with a bomb. This bomb could kill them even if they had a teammate break them out early. Oh, and that was also when by leaving that bomb would give me a two tap wardens law

After play testing these in a private match with a buddy we both felt like the solar was the best and the void was the worst. Arc was inconsistent with the blinding effects and it usually wasn't enough that we couldn't fight through it. Stasis worked okay but usually required some additional abilities to be very effective.

for stasis you coulda used the aspect that slows people when you dodge to then drop the slow bomb. middle tree solar might be a good combo too cuz playing with fire might proc, then you get your abilities back.

On arc, the blind is based off of how far they are from the bomb when it goes off. But for solar it’ll always do 6 ticks of 5 damage. Solar has the potential to do 150 damage, so it’s pretty scary.
